– COOPERATIVE EXPERIENCE MANAGER –
(STORE MANAGER)

Responsibilities include: Overseeing about 50 team members and all aspects of daily store operations to deliver a fantastic experience for our customers, our local producers, and our employees. Ensuring effective team leadership, a visually appealing space, and strong financial outcomes. Participating as a member of the senior management team in ensuring the short- and long-term financial health of the Co-op. This position reports to the General Manager.

We are seeking the following qualifications:

  •  The equivalent of a bachelor’s degree acquired through a combination of formal education, demonstrated, advanced, and continuous learning, and related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience, ability, and success in creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • At least five years of leadership experience and success in building and nurturing strong teams.

Starting wage is $63,000-$70,000, depending on experience.

– PRODUCE BUYER/SHIFT LEAD –

Rising Tide Co-op has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Produce Buyer/Shift Lead. This role creates a phenomenal shopping experience for the Co-op by cutting, packaging, and merchandising produce as well as maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Sourcing from local, regional, and national partners, the Produce Buyer/Shift Lead maintains a department that meets goals for sales, profitability, merchandising, and safe food handling. They work with the Produce Manager to determine product mix, and are responsible for placing orders and maintaining beautiful produce displays. The Produce Buyer/Shift Lead is responsible for the smooth function of the Produce Department for opening the department and during assigned shifts. Most importantly, they will make all our customers feel welcomed by acknowledging or greeting each customer and providing genuine, helpful, and respectful customer service. This position is Tuesday through Saturday, 6am – 2pm.

Qualifications:

  • Customer Service: Experience providing prompt and respectful customer service, going “above and beyond” to delight customers
  • Leadership: Supervisory experience including training, development, and team building
  • Coaching: Experience coaching staff to positive outcomes
  • Safety: Demonstrated knowledge and track record of meeting food and staff safety standards and following best practices
  • Process Management: Experience working with others to create and improve processes and systems
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff in a responsive and caring manner
  • Conflict Management: Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict respectfully, effectively, and fairly
  • “Can-Do-Attitude”: Demonstrates a positive, adaptable, and flexible attitude with a strong commitment to being a team player; proactive approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  •   Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including ability to draft and upload documents, email, and navigate Excel spreadsheets
  •   Produce Experience: Direct experience purchasing and working with produce
