Every month, we donate .05% of our Wednesday sales to an organization nominated and voted on by our member-owners. That organization is also invited to come into Rising Tide and present information and takeaways for the public to be educated and aware of this organization’s efforts within our community.  We invite you to come in and shop on Wednesdays to support these amazing community and wonderful non-profit organizations.

Nominations for the 2021 Co-op for Community Recipients are now open!

September’s Partner is Community Housing Improvement Project or CHiP, Inc.

Since 1984, CHIP, Inc. has been fulfilling a mission of neighbors helping neighbors keep their homes safe, warm, and dry by providing services such as weatherproofing, replacement of windows and doors, handicap access ramps, and electrical and plumbing repairs for Lincoln County homeowners who are not able to do so themselves because of illness, disability or financial need. These repairs are undertaken by volunteers and professionals at no cost to the homeowner.
During the winter months, CHIP also provides limited emergency deliveries of heating oil and firewood to those in need.

You can make a difference.

In addition to shopping every Wednesday in September,  donations to CHIP, Inc. may help provide100 gallons of heat-
ing oil, shingles for a new roof, or materials for a wheelchair ramp. It will also lift someone’s spirits and give them hope. If you would like to make a donation, please contact them directly. CHIP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
