Rising Tide Co-op’s Missions Statement:
“A cooperative business dedicated to being a trusted community-based resource
for high-quality, natural, sustainable foods & goods.”
Rising Tide Community Market is a cooperatively-owned natural grocery serving southern Midcoast Maine since 1978. We’re located in the historic village of Damariscotta, at the gateway to the Pemaquid peninsula and just 25 minutes away from Boothbay Harbor. We support more than 250 local farmers and producers, ensuring that our food dollars stay in our community.
Everyone is welcome to shop at Rising Tide!
We’re open 7 days a week and now offer Curbside Pickup, Monday through Saturday. We have the best produce displays in town, featuring fresh local and organic fruits and veggies. We carry fresh local and natural meats, a wide variety of bulk foods, grocery items, dairy, wine and beer, and high-quality vitamin and body care products. Our deli features soups, sandwiches, baked goods, hot foods and grab & go salads and meals.
During the Spring/Summer months, we hosted a local Fish Market in our parking lot on Mondays to help support the fishing industry, which was hit particularly hard during the pandemic. We have over 250+ local family farms and producers from our thriving community featured within our Co-op walls and we at Rising Tide are proud to support these fine folks while running a successful business!
From our beginnings as a small, committed group of people banding together as a buying club in order to access healthy, whole foods at fair prices, we’ve maintained our focus on providing high-quality, natural, and sustainable foods and goods to our community.
Today we’re 5,000+ member-owners strong and growing.
